This policy explains how Valorian Systems [PLACEHOLDER: add “LLC” after Illinois formation is approved] (“Valorian Systems”, “we”, “us”) handles information in our software, including Neural Core, and on this website, valoriansystems.com. The short version: Neural Core collects no data.

1. Neural Core

  • No data collection. Neural Core does not collect, store on our servers, sell or share any personal data. We do not receive your prompts, conversations, files, file names or results.
  • All processing is on-device. The AI model is bundled with the app and runs locally on your computer. No cloud AI service is used.
  • No network. Neural Core does not make network connections. On macOS it runs in the App Sandbox without a network entitlement.
  • No analytics, advertising or tracking. Neural Core contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking software development kits (SDKs), and it does not create user accounts.
  • Your files. Neural Core can only access folders you explicitly choose. Data Neural Core keeps for you (such as settings, your folder permissions and the undo history) is stored only on your device, and you can delete it by removing the app and its data.
  • Operating-system and store diagnostics. If you choose to share diagnostics with app developers in your operating system or app store settings, Apple or Microsoft may provide us with anonymous crash reports or aggregated statistics under their own privacy policies. Neural Core does not send these itself, and we use them only to fix bugs.

2. This website

  • Hosting. This site is a static website hosted on Cloudflare [PLACEHOLDER: confirm host at launch]. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser user agent and requested pages to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
  • No analytics or trackers. We do not use analytics, advertising, social-media plugins, third-party fonts or third-party scripts. The site loads nothing from other domains.
  • No cookies. We do not set cookies. Our host may set a strictly necessary security cookie if its bot protection is triggered.

3. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to answer you, handle your request, or meet legal obligations. We keep it as long as needed for that purpose, and you can ask us to delete it. Our email is hosted by Microsoft 365 [PLACEHOLDER: confirm email provider]. Please do not send us private files unless we ask; we never need your files to help you.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information we hold (in practice, only correspondence) if required by law.

5. Children

Our products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Because Neural Core collects nothing, the only information we might hold is correspondence. To make a request, email privacy@valoriansystems.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Security

Because your data stays on your device, its security depends mainly on your device. Keep your operating system updated and use disk encryption (FileVault, BitLocker or LUKS). To report a security issue, see our security.txt.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and post the new version here. If a future version of Neural Core ever changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and the app store privacy labels before that version is released.
